MANUFACTURING

Champon's U.S. manufacturing meets the "Good Manufacturing Practice" standards established by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and according to CFR 21 Part 110. This compliance ensures that our products are regulated by the FDA until they are labeled with pesticidal claims, when the EPA then regulates the products. This FDA and EPA regulatory coordination is very important.

We are permitted by the FDA and the EPA to manufacture our pesticides in our food factory. This is important because the FDA does not allow non-food items to be produced in a food factory.

Our products are no more than Natural Food Flavorings making pesticidal claims. It is understood that if Mustard Oil and Capsicum Oleoresin were used at levels that exceed the good manufacturing practices of the FDA standard levels, both products would be harmful to humans. However, our products have a use level well below the good manufacturing practice level and are well within acceptable limits for human consumption.

Our products are on the FDA's GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe) list. The GRAS list is not to be taken lightly. The FDA has compiled a great deal of information regarding human safety in creating its GRAS list. The food industry and the FDA have been stricter than the EPA on ingredients and hazards to humans. The FDA and consumer groups pay very close attention to the safety of products and ingredients that are consumed by humans.

Edible Food Grade Quality Pesticide

Champon Millennium Chemicals maintains an edible "food grade" quality pesticide. The discovery and patenting of food grade quality pesticides from blends of Natural Chemicals are a major scientific achievement that will affect the pesticide industry, the food chain, and overall quality of life worldwide for decades to come.

Our pesticide products offer new opportunities to pesticide users in the U.S. and worldwide. Champon products are changing the nature of the pesticide industry by meeting user needs while also solving the intractable problem of harmful environmental and human health effects from today's market-dominant and highly toxic petro-based pesticides.

Champon's manufacturing for other countries meets the requirements of these respective countries and of export nations.

Production capacity exceeds two hundred (200) tons annually.
